Federal government of United States of America has indicted 10 persons and has confiscated the domains of several online casino companies. This move of US government has been the boldest and biggest one since from the passage of UIGEA bill in the year 2006. It has left the citizens to rethink whether to play blackjack or not.

Several online gambling companies are worried that they may be targeted too in the near future. It may happen. But players need not worry about all these developments. The websites which have been confiscated have allegedly committed money laundering and bank fraud, because they want to hide the source of their income which was set to be processed by the government banks of US. This is because UIGEA prohibits the banks from accepting money from “unlawful” web gambling methods.

Although the US law has not banned online gambling activities, there is fear among people and gambling companies. Any federal law cannot ban online blackjack game. Consequently, until and unless you’re in a state, country or city which has banned online gambling, it is legal to play online black jack games.

UGIEA usually doesn’t aim players. Although some games are banned at the higher levels like federal level, the law mostly targets the gambling companies and financial institutions and not the players. Therefore, banks have to mandatorily obey the rules of UIGEA. Even if the law department of US government argues that UIGEA has banned online gambling, it doesn’t have any power to take action against the players. It will only affect the gambling companies. Therefore, blackjack players still can play black jack game without any fear.
